Overview
Kaiki is a traditional fishing boat commonly found in the waters of the Ionian or Aegean Sea. These small wooden vessels are brightly painted and rigged for sail.
Each kaiki is unique, often built from the boatbuilder’s craft and memory without formal plans.
In recent times, former fishermen have repurposed kaikes as short excursion vessels, catering to summer tourists on islands.
